This stuff never lasts in my house—it’s crunchy, nutty, lightly sweet, and ridiculously addictive. Whether you have it as cereal, sprinkle it over yoghurt with poached fruit, or eat it straight from the jar by the handful (guilty), you’ll never want store-bought granola again.

Homemade Golden Granola Recipe
Makes: ~500g Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
200g Oats
85g Pumpkin seeds
85g Sesame seeds
60g Coconut flakes/chips
70g Pecans
70g Hazelnuts
60ml Maple syrup
100ml Extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Method:
Preheat the oven to 150°C.
Add all the ingredients to a large bowl with a generous pinch of salt and mix well.
Spread the mixture into a thin, even layer on a baking tray and bake for 50–60 minutes, stirring every 15–20 minutes to ensure even browning.
Once golden and fragrant, remove from the oven and let cool completely. Add more salt to taste, then store your golden granola in an airtight jar.
Ways to Enjoy:
As a cereal with milk or your favourite dairy-free alternative.
Sprinkled over Greek yoghurt with poached fruit.
Mixed into smoothie bowls for extra crunch.
As a topping for ice cream.
